Renoir theft suspects arrested over alleged imminent Fondation Maeght burglary
Police arrested five men and a woman on 7 October because investigators believed the Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer theft group was planning a burglary at the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, police chief Eric Antonetti said. Officers had watched the main suspect visit the Fondation with two men, including a known art criminal, after the 8 September theft.
