ACT proposes $1.1b foreign aid cut over four years from 2028
ACT has proposed cutting New Zealand's foreign aid by more than $1.1 billion over four years from 2028. Leader David Seymour said the cut would save about $283 million a year and return spending to 2017 levels, excluding Ukraine. Aid to the Pacific and support for Ukraine would be protected, according to RNZ.
