Milburn to Propose Pre-Apprenticeship Path for England's Youth

Alan Milburn will propose a national pre-apprenticeship route for England, combining college learning, training and work experience, in his youth employment review. The final report is expected after the 28 October Budget, in November at earliest. Almost 1 million young Britons are outside education, jobs or training, and under-19 apprenticeships have nearly halved in a decade.
