A New Training Step to Help Young People in England Find Work

Alan Milburn will suggest a national starter programme in England mixing classes, job skills and work experience, in his youth jobs review. The final report comes after the 28 October Budget, in November at earliest. Almost 1 million young Britons are not in school, jobs or training, and apprenticeships for under-19s have nearly halved in ten years.
