Animal Law Association disappointed as Labour and National reject fireworks ban

The Animal Law Association says it is disappointed Labour and National will not back a ban on fireworks, RNZ reported in its 9 October election coverage. Both major parties were campaigning in Auckland. New Zealand First has promised a law within 100 days to ban public sale and private use, while National and ACT opposed a ban in July.
