Animal Law Association disappointed Labour and National won't back fireworks ban

The Animal Law Association says it is disappointed Labour and National have not backed a ban on fireworks, according to RNZ's 9 October election coverage. Both major parties were campaigning in Auckland. New Zealand First has pledged legislation within 100 days to ban public sale and private use, while National and ACT rejected such a ban in July.
