Ramon Vega declares intent to challenge Infantino for FIFA presidency

Former Tottenham and Switzerland defender Ramon Vega has put himself forward to stand for FIFA president. He is the first candidate to publicly declare his ambition to challenge Gianni Infantino, reported Reuters. Candidates need five backing letters from 211 member associations before nominations close on 18 November. The vote is at the FIFA Congress in Rabat on 18 March.
