BTS and Stray Kids to skip Grammys' new Asian pop category

BTS and Stray Kids will not submit entries for best Asian pop music performance, Recording Academy chief executive Harvey Mason Jr. told Billboard in an interview on Oct. 7. The category was one of five added in June. First-round voting for the 69th Grammys opens Oct. 12 and runs through Oct. 22, ahead of the Feb. 7 ceremony.
