Trump Awards Tech Leaders Medals After H-1B Suspension

President Donald Trump gave national science and technology medals to six tech executives on Oct. 8, 2026, hours after his administration suspended Microsoft and other tech firms from the H-1B skilled-worker visa program over alleged fraudulent use. Honorees were Elon Musk, Sergey Brin, Jensen Huang, Lisa Su, Michael Dell and Satya Nadella.
