Geneva queer festival drops Israel's Oscar entry after boycott threats

Geneva's Everybody's Perfect festival has dropped Tell Me Everything, Israel's official Oscar submission, communications chief Charlotte Sector told The Hollywood Reporter on 8 Oct. The queer-themed festival cancelled 13 Oct and 17 Oct screenings after boycott-threat emails, Sector said. Directed by Moshe Rosenthal, the film premiered at Sundance and won best picture at Israel's Ophir Awards, the Reporter said.
