Cooper Union finalises long-term Chrysler Building lease with Tishman Speyer

The Cooper Union, the private college in New York that owns the land beneath the Chrysler Building in Midtown Manhattan, said on 7 October 2026 it finalised a long-term ground lease — a contract where landowner leases land for another party to run the building — with Tishman Speyer, the property firm in New York.
