
Queen Margrethe discharged after blood clot hospital stay
The Danish Royal Household announced on 6 September that Queen Margrethe, 86, had been admitted to Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen after feeling unwell. Doctors diagnosed a new blood clot in the hip area and mild dehydration. She returned home on 10 September, with doctors recommending reduced activity for the following weeks.
