National promises random drug tests for Jobseeker Support

National says it would bring in random drug testing for people receiving Jobseeker Support, the benefit for those able to work, to keep them 'ready for work'. Social development spokesperson Louise Upston said the testing was reasonable and already required in many jobs, RNZ reported.
