Manson Follower Krenwinkel Granted Parole After Nearly Six Decades
Patricia Krenwinkel, 78, was granted parole — supervised early release — Tuesday by California's Board of Parole Hearings. A former follower of Charles Manson, she has spent nearly six decades in prison for the 1969 Tate-LaBianca murders in Los Angeles. Convicted in 1971, she was 21 when Sharon Tate, who was eight months pregnant, and six others were killed.
