Spotify to expand audiobooks to 180 countries by end of 2026

Spotify announced on Oct. 7 it will offer audiobooks in 180 countries by the end of 2026, reaching virtually all of its 750 million monthly active users. The service began for premium individual subscribers in the US and UK and later expanded to 22 markets. Spotify said audiobook listening hours rose 60% from 2024 to 2025.
