Auckland mayor calls National's $1.75b Mill Road plan 'idiotic'

Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown has called National's $1.75 billion Mill Road project "idiotic". He told RNZ's Morning Report MPs in Wellington should not make promises Auckland ratepayers would fund. National says it would pay for building from the 2028 Budget if it forms the next government. Transport spokesperson Chris Bishop said the party is getting on with it.
