Auckland mayor says National's $1.75b Mill Road plan is 'idiotic'

Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown called National's $1.75 billion Mill Road plan "idiotic". He told RNZ's Morning Report politicians in Wellington should not promise roads Aucklanders must pay for. National says it would pay from the 2028 Budget, the money plan, if it wins the next election. Its transport spokesperson Chris Bishop said the party is getting on with it.
