HBO Max and Paramount+ to combine into one service

HBO Max and Paramount+ will combine into a single service over time, Skydance chairman and CEO David Ellison said at a press event on the Paramount lot to mark the Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery merger close, Deadline reported. The apps stay separate for now, Ellison said. Bundling — the two sold together — accelerates first, he said.
