Sega locks most Sonic Discord channels after abusive posts

Sega locked eight of nine chat channels on its official Sonic the Hedgehog Discord server hours after launch on 5 October 2026. Moderators acted after users posted sexual, racist and discriminatory material. The server drew more than 50,000 members within hours, according to its FAQ. The FAQ blamed aggressive auto-moderation for some bans.
