Sinner out for rest of 2026 with knee injury

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner will miss the rest of 2026 with a right knee injury, BBC Sport reported. The 25-year-old Italian announced the shutdown in a 6 October Instagram video. He has not played since defending Wimbledon in July. He said doctors advised treatment and he had to protect his long-term career.
