South Korea suspects AI role in bank data hacks

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said Oct. 6 there are signs artificial intelligence was used in some hacking incidents. The statement follows his Oct. 4 order for a full investigation into personal data leaks in finance, after regulators held an Oct. 2 emergency meeting with banks and other financial firms.
