
South Korea checks if smart computers helped bank hackers
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said Oct. 6 that hackers may have used artificial intelligence — smart computer tools that work like fast assistants — in some break-ins. He had ordered Oct. 4 a close look at stolen customer information across banks, after officials held an Oct. 2 emergency meeting with banks and other money businesses.
