Labour on 31 percent in RNZ poll before first debate

Labour is on about 31 percent in the RNZ-Reid Research poll, holding first place, RNZ reported. RNZ said it is the first campaign-period poll, released ahead of TVNZ's first leaders' debate between Chris Hipkins and Christopher Luxon. Reid Research surveyed 1,000 eligible voters online from 24 September to 1 October.
