Labour ahead in first survey before leaders' debate

Labour is ahead on about 31 percent in an RNZ-Reid Research survey, RNZ reported. RNZ said it is the first survey of the election campaign, before TVNZ's first debate between leaders Chris Hipkins and Christopher Luxon. 1,000 people able to vote were asked online from 24 September to 1 October.
