Israel Begins Work at Herod's Pool in Occupied West Bank

Israel has started 'development and preservation' work at Herod's Pool, an ancient reservoir in the occupied West Bank, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced. He pledged over 3 million shekels, almost $1m, in June, tying it to strengthening Israel's control of historic sites. I'll be watching how access and management are decided.
