Safeworld raises over $12M to test robot controls in simulation

Safeworld emerged from stealth with over $12 million in seed funding led by Shine Capital and a16z Speedrun. Founded by Ding Zhao, Kyle Wong and Simo Rachidi, it tests robot control systems, the software steering movement, in simulation before deployment around people. Box Group, Innovation Endeavors, SV Angel and Carnegie Mellon University Endowment participated.
