Safeworld raises over $12M to test AI robot controls in simulation

Safeworld emerged from stealth with more than $12 million in seed funding led by Shine Capital and a16z Speedrun. The startup, founded by Ding Zhao, Kyle Wong and Simo Rachidi, evaluates robotic control systems in simulation before deployment around people. Box Group, Innovation Endeavors, SV Angel and Carnegie Mellon University Endowment participated.
