Safeworld raises over $12M to test robots safely on computers

Safeworld launched publicly with over $12 million in early funding led by Shine Capital and a16z Speedrun. Started by Ding Zhao, Kyle Wong and Simo Rachidi, it tests robot brains inside a computer mock-up, like a flight simulator, before robots work near people. Box Group, Innovation Endeavors, SV Angel and Carnegie Mellon University Endowment took part.
