NBA 2K25's single-player MyCareer ends on 1 January 2027 with server shutdown

NBA 2K25's single-player MyCareer story mode will stop working from 1 January 2027. Progression is tied to Virtual Currency (VC), the in-game currency for upgrades, which players can no longer earn after 2K shuts servers on 31 December 2026. MyTeam also closes. Play Now, MyNBA and The W remain playable offline.
