GTA 6 to avoid direct references to real-world politics, Rockstar says

Rockstar Games will avoid direct references to real politicians, events and protest movements in Grand Theft Auto 6, senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries said in Love Magazine, as reported by Video Games Chronicle on 5 October 2026. Humphries said the team did not want to recreate "the exact world we live in".
