Khan Supporters March on Islamabad After Talks Fail

More than 5,000 backers of jailed ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan marched from northwest Pakistan toward Islamabad on Oct. 4 after two rounds of government-PTI talks failed. The PTI rally, delayed from Sept. 27 for negotiations, demands Khan's release. His party calls his convictions since August 2023 politically motivated.
