King Carl XVI Gustaf declared the 2026/2027 Riksmöte open in the Riksdag chamber on 29 September 2026, the Swedish Royal Court said. The Riksmöte, the parliamentary session, followed a service in Stockholm Cathedral. Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and others attended.
