Digger faces major loss on $125M budget after $8M opening

Warner Bros.’ Digger faces a significant loss, The Hollywood Reporter said, after a studio-estimated $8 million domestic, the United States and Canada, opening for the weekend ending 4 October 2026 ahead of Monday’s actuals. The Alejandro G. Iñárritu film starring Tom Cruise cost $125 million to produce and added $12 million internationally over the opening weekend, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
