Nantucket debris linked to missing medical jet; six unaccounted for

Debris found Oct. 4, 2026 off Nantucket came from a missing Gulfstream G100 air ambulance — a small jet fitted for medical transport — en route from Bermuda to Boston, the U.S. Coast Guard said. Six people aboard are still unaccounted for. Crews covered about 1,644 square miles in 27 hours; cutter William Sparling will search overnight. Families have been notified.
