Pieces of missing medical plane found near island; six missing

Wreckage found Oct. 4, 2026 near Nantucket came from a missing Gulfstream G100 medical jet flying from Bermuda to Boston, the U.S. Coast Guard said. Six people on board are still missing. Rescue teams searched about 1,644 square miles of ocean in 27 hours. The ship William Sparling will keep looking overnight. Families have been told.
