Debris found off Nantucket from missing air ambulance; six unaccounted for

U.S. Coast Guard crews found debris off Nantucket on Oct. 4, 2026 confirmed from a Gulfstream G100 air ambulance flying from Bermuda to Boston. Six aboard remain unaccounted for. Crews searched about 1,644 square miles in 27 hours, with cutter William Sparling continuing through the night. Next of kin have been notified.
