
Sudan Army Wants Full RSF City Withdrawal in US Peace Plan
Sudan's army said July 9 it will back a U.S. peace plan only if the Rapid Support Forces, its paramilitary rival, fully leave cities. Reports in July say the U.S. draft sought limited pullbacks focused on North Darfur and North Kordofan. The war now covers 13 of 18 states and has displaced 14 million people.
