Greens offer free travel for some, $2 cap for rest

The Green Party says bus and train travel would be free for children, students, apprentices, Community Service Card holders and Total Mobility users, RNZ reported. All other passengers would pay no more than $2 a trip. The party puts the cost of its full transport plan at about $23.9 billion.
