Iran Confirms Hardline Lawmaker Rasaei Began 10-Month Evin Sentence

Iran's courts say hardline parliament member Hamid Rasaei entered Evin Prison on Sept. 27 to serve a 10-month sentence. He had been ordered to report to the Tehran prison on Sept. 15. The sentence was handed down in June, is final with no further appeal, and is now being carried out.
