Iran Confirms Hardline MP Hamid Rasaei Is Serving 10-Month Sentence in Evin

Iran's judiciary confirmed hardline lawmaker Hamid Rasaei was transferred to Evin Prison on Sept. 27 to begin a 10-month sentence. Rasaei had been summoned to the Tehran prison on Sept. 15. The sentence, issued in June, is definitive and now being enforced.
