Stabbed Flydubai Captain Says He Opened Cockpit Door to Save Flight

Indian captain Smit Machchhar says he opened the cockpit door — the pilots' locked cabin — while covered in blood on the floor as his co-pilot attacked him on a Tel Aviv-bound Flydubai flight. Crew and passengers entered and overpowered the attacker, he told Prime Minister Narendra Modi from an Abu Dhabi hospital bed. The UAE says it will investigate.
