Community banks sue OCC over crypto trust charters

Community banks sued regulator Oct. 2, 2026 over national trust charters for crypto firms. Independent Community Bankers of America filed case 1:26-cv-03441 against the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, per its published complaint.
