Two Iranians charged over alleged Manchester plot

Rahman Salehi, 35, and Salam Ahmadyan, 36, were charged on 2 October 2026 with preparing terrorism over an alleged plan against Manchester's Jewish community. Anti-terror police say 20 September arrests, on the eve of Yom Kippur, Judaism's holiest day, foiled it. Both appear at Westminster magistrates' court on 3 October.
