Slovenia's .si registrations surge after Trump super-intelligence order

Slovenia's country-code .si registry added almost 13,000 domains in the 24 hours before Oct. 2, 2026, after President Trump's Sept. 29 executive order directing federal agencies to use "SI" and "super intelligence" instead of "AI." Registry SI logged 11,000 registrations on Sept. 30 alone, with September purchases up 2,199%, spokesperson Klara Herman said.
