Revised PS5 Slim has easily replaceable CMOS battery

Sony has reportedly revised the PS5 Slim with an easily removable CR2032 CMOS battery, the coin cell that holds clock and settings. Technician Modyfikator89 examined a Limited Edition Wolverine unit, reported by Video Games Chronicle on 2 October 2026. The easy-swap design matches the PS5 Pro, in the September 2026 model.
