Brent crude back at $100 squeezes importers
$100 a barrel for Brent crude around October 1, 2026, Reuters reported. For countries that import more oil than they export, that means pricier fuel and a bigger dollar import bill. An October 1 Reuters poll found investors negative — or bearish — on most emerging Asian currencies over oil worries. In my view, this squeezes household budgets directly.
