BTS to withhold Arirang from 2027 Grammys

BTS says it will not submit comeback album Arirang for the 2027 Grammy Awards, skipping the contest for the first time. The group said music should be heard and loved by itself rather than divided by region or language. Online entries closed on 21 August; first-round voting starts 12 October ahead of the 7 February ceremony.
