Sony Brings QSSR AI Upscaling to Standard PS5

Sony will bring Quick Spectral Super Resolution, a new performance tier of AI upscaling, to the standard PS5. Co-developed with AMD under Project Amethyst, it enables machine-learning image reconstruction on hardware lacking dedicated AI chips. It will run slower than the PS5 Pro's PSSR, which Sony says remains the best option.
