Sony to Make Regular PS5 Games Look Sharper With AI

Sony will add Quick Spectral Super Resolution to the regular PS5. Built with AMD under Project Amethyst, it uses artificial intelligence to sharpen lower-resolution game images, filling in detail. Because the standard console lacks special AI hardware, it works more slowly than the PS5 Pro's version, which Sony says still delivers the best picture.
