AWS Releases Small, Open Decision Model for AI Agents

Amazon Web Services has released Strands Decider 2B, an open-source decision model for AI agents inspired by TypeSafe's Jev. Built on the Qen3.5-2B language-model base, its code is fully public and it is compact enough to run on a local machine. It arrived through Strands Labs, AWS's AI agent tooling team.
